US Boston’s Affiliated Pear Tree Family of Mutual Funds

Since 1985, U.S. Boston affiliate Pear Tree Advisors, Inc. has used a manager-of-managers approach to create pooled access to boutique, high-quality institutional equity investment firms and professionals via the Pear Tree family of sub-advised mutual funds (“the Pear Tree Funds” at www.peartreefunds.com ).  The Pear Tree Funds were very early in developing style-consistent vehicles which allowed implementation of U.S. Boston’s strategic global asset allocation investment philosophy. The lack of depth in such retail offerings in the 1980s was the motivation to create the first Pear Tree Funds.

The Pear Tree Funds seek subadvisory services only from investment firms that are specialists in their asset classes. Pear Tree Funds’ expertise and value resides in selecting and monitoring—through a stringent due diligence process—the subadvisors who manage the Funds’ assets. The Funds’ combination of small, specialized subadvisors investing in targeted asset classes allows the Pear Tree Funds to offer unique investment opportunities not easily accessed in the retail marketplace.  Please see www.peartreefunds.com  for more information on the Pear Tree Funds current offerings.
